Actually this blog was here for while but for a few reasons I was not able to keep it updated. That is a problem I will try to fix now to avoid this situation in the future in the future. The name and the general look of the blog will be both changed, in other words a "new start". The main reason why I decided to do this is because there is not a better moment to talk about movies than in its own night, the night of the Oscars. For this, I am happy to write and comment about what Hollywood just witnessed and share my opinions and thoughts regarding the awards and nominees. So, now that the Academy Awards ceremony is over, is appropiate to start this blog by welcoming people talking about the Oscars and reviewing what it is left of the awards.
In order to be more organised with the categories, I will just write about the "big 5" categories, the more important in the Oscars. These five are: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Screenplay (Either Adapted or Original, depends of the film). The only film that won in each of these categories is The Silence of the Lambs in 1991.
Later on, the entries of this blog will contain short reviews and opinions about movies I consider good for any reason, also if you want me to give you my opinion or just talk about any other film, just write a comment and I will watch that movie and give you an appropiate opinion about it. The purpose of this blog is to share my love for films by telling you, the reader, what can you notice, see, admire, and love in a movie. I am not here to say this movie sucks or this performance sucks because we all have different opinions and you are welcome to write what you believe.
